Subscriptions and Bookmarks

A helpful feature of phpBB is the ability to subscribe or bookmark individual Topics or Forums. If you subscribe to a forum/topic you will be automatically notified any time there are new posts. Bookmarks work much like bookmarks in your browser — you will not be notified of new posts, but you can use the bookmark to return to that topic another time.

To subscribe, go to the forum or topic you want to subscribe to and click on "Subscribe Forum" or "Subscribe Topic" near the bottom of the page.

To set a bookmark, got to the topic you want to mark and click on "Bookmark Topic" near the bottom of the page. Bookmarks are only allowed on topics.

Subscriptions and bookmarks can be removed by the same method (the link will now say "Unsubscribe" or "Remove bookmark") or through the "Manage Subscriptions" or "Manage Bookmarks" pages in the User Control Panel.
